Kei Matsumoto passed his Ph.D. defense! @ April 8

Ph.D. student Kei Matsumoto, a member of our research group, has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation! His work title "Magnetohydrodynamic Processes and Non-thermal Emission in Major X-class Solar Flares" revealed key non-thermal emission processes by integrating detailed data analysis with data-based MHD simulations. In recognization of his outstanding activities and achievements over the past three years, he was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Student Award from NJIT.
