Ph.D. student Kei Matsumoto, a member of our research group, has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation! His work title "Magnetohydrodynamic Processes and Non-thermal Emission in Major X-class Solar Flares" revealed key non-thermal emission processes by integrating detailed data analysis with data-based MHD simulations. In recognization of his outstanding activities and achievements over the past three years, he was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Student Award

PI Dr. Inoue attended the 7th GST workshop 2026 in Turkey as an invited speaker. He presented recent results from data-based MHD simulations, including findings obtained using GST data from a study recently conducted by graduate student Ms. Arpita Roddanavar. The presentation was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the performance and advantages of our simulations to researchers in the field of ground-based observation. The meeting was held in Antalya, and it was incredib
