Ph.D. student Kei Matsumoto, a member of our research group, has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation! His work title "Magnetohydrodynamic Processes and Non-thermal Emission in Major X-class Solar Flares" revealed key non-thermal emission processes by integrating detailed data analysis with data-based MHD simulations. PI Dr. Inoue attended the 7th GST workshop 2026 in Turkey as an invited speaker.
